im gg t attend some stjohn activity,
wid nanhua primary sku stjohn kiddies.
ive seen them bfre, some of dem are rly adorable!
i hope it'l be fun. :))

was havin' breakfast jst nw,
&daddy talked abt d nxt family activity.
pinic nxt sunday at east coast.
&asked me t plan,
cus he said i attended camp &expects me t apply it in dis activity.
gosh.
daddy, i got work t do u knw.
shld have asked tanhuikai,
he wld be more than happy cus his exams are over.
only knws hw t sit in front of d tv &play soccer only.
dumbdumb.

ytd afternoon went tpy central t meet ahyi,
outside d old chang kee.
&i observed something real interesting.

there's dis woman standing beside oldchangkee,
giving out d free newspapers, mypaper(wo bao)
people came forward every now &then t take a copy.
al of them were very polite t say thankyou t the woman,
she smiled happily&said welcome.
i was about t tell uncle dat he was wrong abt ugly singaporeans.
&i thought, wad made them so polite?
it is a good day for them,
or it is the free newspapers dat did d trick?

slowly, half hr passed.
fewer people botherd t open their mouth t even mumble a word thanks.
they jst grab a copy &go.
&d woman stopped smiling.
i think she even finds it troublesome t be standing there, giving out d newspapers.
only abt 2 in every 10people said thanks?

here's d interesting part.
a mother came forward wid her son, holding his hand,
she took a copy, no thankyou,
&dint even bother t look at d woman in d eye.
how rude!
then it was her son which let out his cutesy lil voice to say,
thankyou auntie!
as his mom walks on,
d lil boy asked loudly, pointing t d woman,
"mommy, why u dint say thankyou to the auntie?"
d voice was pretty loud,
i almost wantd t laugh out whn i heard it.
d mother was so SO paiseh.
she drag her son &walked on.

you see, singaporeans.
your courtesy reflects.
if you're not polite t others,
dunt even expect them t be polite t you.

let alone a mother &her child.
you start tellin' your child t be polite,
to respect others d mintue he starts crawling,
&you yourself dunt respect others at al.
dat woman giving out newspapers dunt hav t bear wid dat glumly face of yours,
it doesnt even concern her if you dunt take d newspapers.
no wonder we're d last 10 countries ranked in courtesy.
singaporeans are too concern abt themselves.
far tooooo much.

work was pretty okaye.
initially it was so bored laa.
razee is backkkk!
whoooooos! :D

d ltr part of d evening was nice,
it was nt too busy,
moderate.
i always loved it like dat.
if there were no customers,
esp monday night,
il be like soooo super bored laa.
customers are real nice people ytd.
a bunch of malay friends made two big big cakes for their friends birthday!
dey used really interesting stuff t decorate it.
it looks super yummy.
&its cream free!
cus i think d cake we usually did is tooo full of cream alrd.
not for me pls.

im workin 12-8pm on both monday &tuesday nxt wk.
sobs.
bt wed-friday il be free!
ms shock, ring me up kays.
we gt fareast chippy for yums.
fried mars bars! :D

i had my clothes al ready for d trip!
happy happy.
i haf dis cute lil hat. :)
chenrouying is al so excited.
shes counting down alrd.
